200 ACRE CARIBOU PENINSULA :
| Camp Caribou has a beautifully unique physical plant! We’re located in Winslow, ME (6 miles from Waterville, ME) on a 2-3 mile private lake called Lake Pattee. We are on a 200 acre peninsula that juts out into this fabulous body of water. We are fortunate enough to have our own 1 mile access road and 2 miles of private lake frontage. We have an outstanding maintenance staff that keeps the physical plant immaculate! |

WATERFRONT:
| Our waterfront is comprised of an Alumadock Docking System. This is an H configuration with 25 yard interior swim lanes. We have starting blocks, turning boards, and lane markers for competitive swimmers.
Our boating fleet consists of 2 war canoes, 12 Old Town ABS canoes, 6 rowboats, 12 kayaks, 4 windsurfers, 2 JY-14’s, 8 sunfish, and 2 brand new Malibu competition inboard ski boats. We also have several utility outboards and an 18 foot inflatable that we exclusively use for tubing and knee boarding.
Our ski docks are nestled in a private cove highlighted by our own slalom ski course. |

LAND SPORTS:
The Caribou peninsula has fifteen acres of flat athletic playing fields. We have 2 soccer fields, 2 baseball diamonds, 1 lacrosse field, a large archery range with 17 targets, rifle range, a golf driving range, nine hole chipping course, and a state of the art official whiffle ball, “Fenway Park”, diamond.
Caribou offers 6 tennis courts: 3 red clay and 3 asphalt plexipave hard courts. We also have an official N.H.L. sized outdoor street/roller hockey rink and a six station outdoor basketball facility. |

HIGH + LOW ROPES COURSE:
| In the center of Camp is our High & Low ropes course which is highlighted by 15 high and a dozen low elements built by Project Adventure. One of the most amazing high elements is located in our cove which is a 400 foot long Aqua Zip Wire into the lake. This is an adrenaline high, but still extremely safe! |

INDOOR FACILITIES:
In 2002 we completed our 10,000 square foot gymnasium which has 2 80 foot basketball courts and a 92 foot regulation highschool – college court as well! Also included in this large gymnasium is our weight room and separate cardio-fitness room. We have a large theatre stage area which overlooks the gym and has excellent lighting and sound systems.
We have just totally reconditioned our Arts & Crafts facility and added a 20X20 deck overlooking the waterfront so our campers can enjoy the outdoors while working on their projects.
We are also lucky to have a 3,000 square foot movie theatre. A large projection movie system is within. In the same building is our boxing gym. The boxing gym is equipped with 16 ounce gloves, jump ropes, head gear, hitting mits, speed bags, heavy bags, and a sparring area. |

CABINS:
| We have 25 cabins for our campers. The cabins all have hard wood floors, fluorescent lighting, individual stall bathrooms, showers, urinals, and sinks. The interiors of all of the cabins have electricity, are bright, cheery and extremely well maintained! The cabin line is all in one area, and extremely easy to supervise. |

CAMPFIRE:
| One of the most beautiful spots in all of Camp Caribou is our campfire area overlooking the east side of the lake. This site is built in amongst a natural stand of cathedral pines and has elevated seating for 300 people. We have 2 totem poles carved by Native Americans adds to the ambiance of this special site! |
