Adventure

Ropes Course

We have a comprehensive ropes/climbing course, with many high and low elements providing infinite challenge for the campers. Our course also includes an outrageously fun 60 foot high zip wire that leads right into the lake and a 50 foot climbing wall. Our philosophy in terms of the ropes course is to provide campers with a challenge and a choice. They choose how much they wish to challenge themselves with the support of the staff and their peers. All efforts are recognized.

Zip Wire

The aqua zip is the perfect way to cool down on a warm day. After ascending 65 feet up into a pine tree you hook into the aqua zip cable while standing on a platform and prepare for your 365 foot trip across the cove into Lake Pattee. (see the video!)

Campfire

One of the most beautiful spots in all of Camp Caribou is our campfire area overlooking the east side of the lake. This site is built in amongst a natural stand of cathedral pines and has elevated seating for 300 people. We have 2 totem poles carved by Native Americans adds to the ambiance of this special site!
