Variety is the key word in the food at Camp Caribou. We like to source as much food locally as possible, offering as many healthy and tasty options for campers and staff to enjoy. Breakfast could be anything from pancakes, scrambled eggs, french toast, European breakfast, egg and cheese sandwiches, omelettes, hot and cold cereals, as well as a yogurt, fruit, and granola bar. Lunches and dinners always include an entree, with multiple sides, fully stocked salad bar, or the option to customize your own sandwich or wrap. Desserts offered are homemade, cooked by our very own scratch baker. Everyone finds something they like at each meal. Camp Caribou is an entirely nut-free environment.
Special Dietary Needs
At Camp Caribou, we cater to most dietary restrictions and allergies. Our facility is staffed with a Special Dietary Chef, whose job entails creating and cooking meals for campers who have diabetes, celiac (gluten free) and other assorted food allergies. We also cater to campers who are vegetarian.
